Us

Love for food since 1998

Plima started in 1998 as a beach-side ice cream parlour. Founded by Borislav Sosic, the family-run establishment grew into a restaurant over the years.

 

The late Borislav was a passionate chef and passed on his love for cooking with simple, beautiful ingredients to his daughter Tanja, who took over Plima in 2008 as restaurant manager and pastry chef.

 

Keen to celebrate her father's spirit and to nurture the family's passion for food, Tanja studied pastry at the world-renowned confectionary school Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, where she graduated with honours in 2017.

Her passion and creativity have inspired her to create a new range of vegan products, as well as beautifully handcrafted ceramics, which you can now purchase on our web shop.

The Restaurant

Plima is located right by Brela's picturesque promenade, overlooking a stunning beach and the enchanting turquoise waters of the Adriatic Sea.

 

Set amidst pine trees, we offer 80 covers laid across outdoor and indoor areas, within an informal, intimate and atmospheric environment. 

 

The 6.5km long promenade is for pedestrian and cycling use only, which makes Plima a particularly peaceful and relaxing dining spot.

We welcome groups, friends and families in all shapes and sizes - dogs included!

Please also note that we only accept cash payments, the good old way. We're working on getting card payments up and running soon, so stay tuned.
